Bepanthen® Plus Cream effectively protects small wounds such as abrasions, cuts, scratches or lacerations from infections and also promotes natural wound healing.

The cream combines the disinfectant ingredient chlorhexidine with the healing-promoting dexpanthenol.

Instructions for use

Apply Bepanthen® Plus Cream thinly to the cleaned wound or inflamed skin area once or several times a day as needed.

The cream absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy residue.

The duration of application depends on the type and course of the injury and is usually about 1 to 2 weeks.

Large-scale application should be avoided.

Avoid contact with eyes, ears and mucous membranes.

If the condition of the wound does not improve or worsens, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients

Active ingredients:
1 g cream contains:

• 50 mg dexpanthenol (5%)
• 5 mg chlorhexidine dihydrochloride (0.5%)

Other ingredients:
White petrolatum, liquid paraffin, wool wax (E913), macrogol stearate-1800, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, DL-pantolactone, purified water.

Side effects

Like all medicines, this product can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.

The following side effects may occur occasionally:

• Skin irritation
• Burning or redness at the application site
• Itching
• Contact allergic reactions

In rare cases, allergic reactions to chlorhexidine or wool wax are possible.
