Flu-like infection? Anyone who has ever had a cold knows how unpleasant the symptoms are when you have a severe cold. Sore throat, headache, and fever make everyday life a challenge. With Aspirin +C® Forte, effective help is at hand, especially at the onset of a cold!

The effervescent tablets work quickly and effectively against headaches and help with cold pain such as sore throats, body aches, and fever. Thanks to the double amount of active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) compared to classic Aspirin® + C, Aspirin® + C Forte provides fast and particularly strong help for early cold symptoms.

The dosage form as a practical effervescent tablet has many advantages: the active ingredient is already pre-dissolved in water and can thus be quickly absorbed by the body. In addition, more liquid is also ingested, which is particularly important in the case of a cold or a flu-like infection. The extra vitamin C helps to cover the increased need for this vitamin during cold-like illnesses with flu-like symptoms, thus supporting the immune system – so you can feel fit again quickly!

How does Aspirin® + C Forte work and help?

Aspirin® + C contains 800 milligrams of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) and 480 milligrams of vitamin C (ascorbic acid). The proven active ingredient ASA has fever-reducing, pain-relieving, and anti-inflammatory properties. It belongs to the so-called non-opioid pain relievers and non-steroidal anti-rheumatics. What they have in common is that they inhibit the formation of certain messenger substances (prostaglandins). In this way, both pain transmission and perception in the brain as well as inflammation are inhibited – and the pain subsides. ASA also influences the temperature regulation center in the brain, which ensures that the fever drops.

Antioxidants, such as vitamin C (ascorbic acid), have the function, among other things, of inhibiting oxidation processes in the body that could otherwise cause damage. In addition, Aspirin® + C Forte contains so-called buffering agents that ensure that the solubility of the active ingredient is significantly improved. It can thus pass through the stomach more quickly and enter the bloodstream – for particularly rapid pain relief.

How to take Aspirin® + C Forte

Completely dissolve one effervescent tablet in a glass of water and then drink the entire contents of the glass immediately. Do not take on an empty stomach. The recommended dose for adults is:

• Single dose: 1 effervescent tablet
• Daily dose: a maximum of 3 effervescent tablets

The single dose can be repeated, if necessary, at intervals of 4 to 8 hours.
