Eucerin Anti-Pigment Cleansing Gel
Clinical Formulation
AHA stands for Alpha Hydroxy Acid, also known as fruit acid. In our products, we use AHA glycolic acid, which originally comes from sugar cane. This exfoliating acid has a very small molecular size, ensures smoother and more even skin, and opens pores without damaging the skin's protective barrier. It also increases the biosynthetic capacity of collagen and supports the structure in the skin matrix to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
Lactic acid is a skin-caring component of the natural moisturizing factor (NMF) and belongs to the group of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). It works in the uppermost layer of the skin with a dual effect:
- Moisturizing: Lactic acid reduces skin flakes and harmonizes the skin's pH value to alleviate signs of dry skin.
- Comedolytic effect: By supporting gentle exfoliation, lactic acid prevents the formation of blackheads and keeps pores clear, leading to a smoother skin texture.
Glycolic acid is a water-soluble alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugarcane. It is the smallest and most penetrating AHA, allowing it to effectively exfoliate the skin by breaking down the bonds between dead skin cells.
The main benefits are:
- Gentle Exfoliation: Promotes cell renewal by dissolving dead skin cells, leading to a smoother and more radiant complexion.
- Moisture Boost: Increases the skin's ability to retain moisture by stimulating hyaluronic acid production.
- Anti-Aging & Skin Renewal: Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by promoting collagen synthesis and skin regeneration.
- Pore Refinement & Clarity: Helps cleanse pores, prevents blemishes, and improves skin texture, which is particularly beneficial for acne-prone skin.
Delivery time: approx. 3-4 days (international shipping varies)
