In such moments, we long for a solution that is not only fast but also long-lasting. Aleve® tablets offer fast and effective relief for mild to moderate pain such as body and back pain. They are anti-inflammatory and provide long-lasting pain relief for up to 12 hours. Aleve® film-coated tablets are suitable as headache tablets as well as for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as:

• Body, back and joint pain
• Shoulder pain and neck pain
• Headaches
• Toothaches
• Menstrual pain
• Muscle aches

How does Aleve® work and help?
Aleve® film-coated tablets are the only non-prescription pain reliever with the active ingredient Naproxen on the Austrian market. One film-coated tablet contains 220 milligrams of Naproxen Sodium (equivalent to 200 milligrams of Naproxen). The active ingredient belongs to the group of non-steroidal drugs, which have pain-relieving, fever-reducing, and anti-inflammatory effects. It blocks the formation of certain messenger substances in the body, so-called prostaglandins, thereby reducing the sensitivity of pain receptors – pain and inflammatory reactions are thus alleviated in a long-lasting manner.

How to take Aleve® film-coated tablets
The film-coated tablets should be taken whole with meals and plenty of fluid. The pain tablets become effective more quickly when taken on an empty stomach. People with sensitive stomachs should preferably take the pain reliever with a meal. The dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over with a body weight of at least 50 kilograms is:

• Single dose: 1 tablet every 8 to 12 hours
• Daily dose: maximum 3 tablets

Aleve® film-coated tablets are available in a pack size of 24 pieces.
