Agiolax® Granules

Gentle digestive aid with a mild laxative granulate

A good way to rebalance disturbed digestion is with the purely herbal laxative granulate Agiolax. It contains ingredients that ideally complement each other in their effect: Plantago ovata including seed husks (also called "Indian psyllium"), which is rich in mucilage that swells with fluid, thus regulating bowel activity. They thus fulfill the task of dietary fiber by increasing the filling pressure of the intestine and thereby stimulating it to work more. In addition, the mucilage makes the stool soft and lubricated.

The senna fruit (Cassia fistula) is a tree species of biblical age and can be found wild and cultivated throughout the tropics. There, it is also called the "Indian Golden Shower" because of its long yellow flower clusters - and it is just as popular as an ornamental plant for precisely this reason.
The natural senna fruits, in turn, only become effective in the large intestine. They increase the sensitivity of the intestinal walls to stretch stimuli and thus support the regulation of bowel movements in a reliable but gentle way.

Agiolax has another important advantage: its granulate dosage form ensures an even distribution of the swelling and filling agents in the intestine. In addition, the granulate form makes Agiolax individually dosable, according to personal needs.

What is Agiolax granulate and what is it used for?
Agiolax granulate is a herbal laxative. The seeds and seed husks of Indian psyllium absorb water, swell up and, thanks to their mucilage, help to soften the stool. In addition, bowel activity is increased by laxative active ingredients from senna fruits. Due to the manufacturing process, Agiolax granulate works slowly and gently in the intestine. The effect sets in 8 to 10 hours after ingestion.

What should you consider before taking Agiolax granulate?
Agiolax granulate must not be taken:

• in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients,
• in case of abdominal pain of unknown cause,
• in case of intestinal obstruction and strictures, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, severe fluid and salt loss,
• in case of difficult-to-control diabetes; in children under 12 years of age.

How to use Agiolax granulate correctly:
Adults and children from 12 years of age: in the evening after eating and - if necessary - also
in the morning before breakfast, swallow 1 teaspoon of Agiolax granulate unchewed with plenty of liquid
(1/4 liter).

How should Agiolax granulate be stored?
Keep medicines out of the reach of children. Do not store above 30°C!
