Product Description

A.Vogel Salviaforce with Echinacea Spray combines Purple Coneflower with sage and peppermint oil. The long spray tube allows for targeted application in the mouth and throat.

This medicine is a traditional herbal medicine registered exclusively on the basis of long-standing use for the stated indications.

What is the product for?

Salviaforce with Echinacea Spray is used to treat symptoms of painful inflammations and infections in the mouth and throat, especially for:

• sore throat with pain

• pain when swallowing

• inflamed tonsils

• swelling and redness

• painful sensation in the throat

• hoarseness

The medicine is suitable for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

Application and Dosage

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:

2 sprays 6 to 10 times daily.

Method of Application

1. Place the head of the enclosed spray tube onto the bottle with light pressure.

2. Hold the spray tube in your mouth and press down the spray head to apply the recommended amount precisely to the painful area in the throat. Hold the bottle as vertically as possible.

3. After use, turn the spray tube downwards by 90°.

If not used for a longer period, the end of the spray tube should be thoroughly rinsed with lukewarm water.

Duration of Use

Salviaforce with Echinacea should not be used continuously for longer than 2 weeks.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Shelf life after opening

Usable for 2 months after first opening.

Ingredients / Composition

The active ingredients are extract of Purple Coneflower and tincture of Sage Leaves.

1 g, corresponding to approx. 4 sprays, contains:

68.9 mg thick extract of Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea L. (Moench)), corresponding to 232.2–417.1 mg fresh Purple Coneflower herb and 11.4–21.8 mg fresh Purple Coneflower root.

Extraction solvent: Ethanol 57 % m/m.

407.6 mg tincture of Sage Leaves (Salvia officinalis folium), corresponding to 94.8–165.9 mg fresh Sage Leaves.

Extraction solvent: Ethanol 60 % m/m.

Other ingredients: Sucrose laurate, soy lecithin, ethanol 96 %, peppermint oil, and sorbitol solution 70 % (non-crystallizing).

Total alcohol content: up to 47 % by volume.

Side effects / Tolerability

Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The medicine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to Purple Coneflower, sage, peppermint oil, or any of the other ingredients.

Important Notes

• For adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

• Do not use continuously for longer than 2 weeks.
