Gastricumeel® tablets are a homeopathic medicinal product for use in cases of gastric and digestive problems such as heartburn, belching, flatulence, and stomach pain.

What is Gastricumeel® intended for?

Gastricumeel® is a homeopathic combination remedy. It consists of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal profiles complement one another.

The therapeutic indications are derived from the homeopathic medicinal profiles. These include, in particular, stomach pain, heartburn, and flatulence.

Use in these therapeutic indications is based solely on homeopathic experience.

Therapeutic indications

Gastricumeel® is used for:

• Stomach pain

• Heartburn

• Flatulence

• Digestive complaints

Dosage form

Tablets.

Dosage and administration

Adults 18 years and older: 1 tablet 3 times daily.

In acute cases: 1 tablet initially every 15 minutes, up to a maximum of 8 times daily.

Use in children and adolescents

Children from 2 to 6 years: 1 tablet 1–2 times daily.

Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet 2 times daily.

Adolescents 12 years and older: 1 tablet 3 times daily.

In acute cases

Children from 2 to 6 years: 1 tablet initially every 15 minutes, up to a maximum of 6 times daily.

Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet initially every 15 minutes, up to a maximum of 8 times daily.

Adolescents 12 years and older: 1 tablet initially every 15 minutes, up to a maximum of 8 times daily.

Reduce the frequency of administration as symptoms improve.

Children under 2 years

The use of Gastricumeel® in children under 2 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data available.

Method of administration

Allow the tablets to dissolve slowly under the tongue. Take before meals.

For children under 6 years, crush the tablet with a spoon, add a little liquid (approx. 50 ml of water or unsweetened tea), and stir until the tablet is completely dissolved.

Duration of use

The duration of use depends on the clinical picture.

If there is no improvement within one week or if symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.

Important information

For severe forms of the condition, clinically proven therapy is indicated.

If symptoms persist for longer than 7 days or worsen, medical advice should be sought.

The use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended due to lack of sufficient data.

Composition / Ingredients

1 tablet contains the following active ingredients:

Argentum nitricum D6 30 mg, Acidum arsenicosum D6 30 mg, Pulsatilla pratensis D4 60 mg, Strychnos nux vomica D4 60 mg, Carbo vegetabilis D6 60 mg, and Stibium sulfuratum nigrum D6 60 mg.

Other ingredients: 300 mg lactose monohydrate and magnesium stearate.

Like all medicines, Gastricumeel® can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
