What is the product for?

hafesan® Visio Plus is suitable for adults who want to specifically supply their eyes with selected carotenoids, vitamins, and zinc.

Vitamin A, which the body can produce from beta-carotene, contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. Zinc also supports the maintenance of normal vision.

Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids that naturally occur in the macula of the eye. They are not produced by the body and must be obtained through diet.

The macula lutea, also known as the "yellow spot," is located in the center of the retina and is of particular importance for sharp vision.

Lutein and zeaxanthin naturally accumulate in this area of the eye. However, there are no approved specific health claims for lutein and zeaxanthin themselves regarding the improvement or maintenance of vision.

Ingredients

Acerola extract, vegetable capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), zinc gluconate, ascorbic acid, beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, D-alpha-tocopherol acetate.

Side effects and tolerability

In sensitive individuals, gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea or abdominal discomfort may occur.

Higher or long-term intake of beta-carotene can lead to a yellowish-orange discoloration of the skin. This is usually harmless and reversible after reducing the intake.
