Dioscomb® 500 mg is a vasoprotector (vascular-protective medicine) with micronized flavonoids. It supports venous function, increases venous tone, and improves the resistance of small blood vessels.

Indications

For adults, for the treatment of:

• Symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency of the legs

  • Feeling of heaviness in the legs

  • Swollen legs

  • Pain in the legs

  • Night-time calf and leg cramps

• Functional symptoms in acute hemorrhoids

  • Pain in the anal area

  • Swelling

  • Bleeding

  • Feeling of pressure and tension

Active Ingredients

Each film-coated tablet contains:

• 500 mg micronized flavonoids

  • 450 mg diosmin

  • 50 mg other flavonoids, expressed as hesperidin

Other Ingredients

Core:
Magnesium stearate, talc, maize starch, gelatin, microcrystalline cellulose (type 102)

Film coating:
Red iron oxide (E172), yellow iron oxide (E172), Macrogol 3350, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E171), talc

Dosage and Administration

For chronic venous insufficiency

Adults:

• 2 film-coated tablets daily

• preferably 1 tablet at midday and 1 tablet in the evening

• each taken with meals

If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 6 weeks, medical advice should be sought.

For acute hemorrhoidal symptoms

Adults:

• Days 1–4: 3 film-coated tablets twice daily (6 tablets daily)

• Days 5–7: 2 film-coated tablets twice daily (4 tablets daily)

• followed by maintenance dose: 1 film-coated tablet twice daily

Take with meals.

For hemorrhoidal symptoms, use should not exceed 15 days without medical consultation. If no improvement occurs after 7 days, medical clarification should be sought.

Further Product Information

Dioscomb® contains micronized flavonoids, which improves the absorption of the active ingredients. The medicine is used for the supportive treatment of venous symptoms and acute hemorrhoidal symptoms.

The break line is solely for facilitating swallowing of the tablet.
