Product information

ThermaCare® Sport is a self-heating heat wrap for targeted use for muscle and joint pain, especially after physical exertion and strenuous training.

The ergonomic and flexible wrap features 4 heat cells and can be used on different parts of the body. After a warm-up phase of about 30 minutes, it reaches a therapeutic temperature of approx. 40 °C and provides consistent heat for up to 8 hours.

Intended use

ThermaCare® Sport is suitable for heat therapy for muscle and joint pain associated with:

• Overexertion

• Strains

• Sprains

• Muscle tension

• Arthritis

• Discomfort after physical or athletic activity

• Acute, chronic, or occasional pain

Directions for use

Only open the airtight packaging immediately before use.

Do not cut the heat wrap.

Remove the protective film to expose the adhesive side.

Attach the wrap with the adhesive side directly onto the painful area of the body.

It may take up to 30 minutes to reach the therapeutic temperature of approx. 40 °C.

Remove the heat wrap after a maximum of 8 hours.

Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.

Use overnight

People under 55 years of age may also wear the heat wrap overnight in accordance with the instructions for use.

For those aged 55 and over, there is an increased risk of burns. Therefore, ThermaCare® should be worn over a thin layer of clothing and not while sleeping.

Important information

Do not use on injured or damaged skin.

Do not use on areas with bruising or swelling that have occurred within the last 48 hours.

Do not use in conjunction with topical medications, patches, or other heat sources.

Never heat the wrap in an oven, microwave, or by any other means. There is a risk of fire and burns.

Seek medical advice before use if you have:

• Diabetes

• Circulatory problems

• Heart disease

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Pregnancy

Discontinue use and seek medical advice if persistent burning, swelling, skin rash, or other skin changes occur.

If pain worsens or persists unchanged after 7 days, you should consult a doctor.

Side effects and tolerability

Redness or skin irritation may occur due to the heat or the adhesive, especially on sensitive skin.

In the event of severe or persistent skin reactions or signs of a burn, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.
