Application

TANTUM VERDE oral spray is used for the symptomatic treatment of painful inflammations and swelling in the mouth and throat area.

Dosage

The spray is generally used 2–6 times daily (every 1.5–3 hours).

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 4–8 sprays

• Children between 6 and 12 years: 4 sprays

• Children under 6 years: 1 spray per 4 kg body weight, maximum 4 sprays

Due to the menthol content, do not use in infants and children under 2 years of age.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

When used as directed, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible.

Before use, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.

• 1.5 mg benzydamine hydrochloride per ml

• 3-Phenylprop-2-en-1-ol

• Peppermint flavor

• Citronellol

Do not use if allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.

Side effects

Like all medicines, TANTUM VERDE oral spray can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects:

• Burning or numbness in the mouth

• Feeling of dryness in the mouth and throat

• Changes in taste

• Nausea or mild stomach discomfort

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Allergic skin or mucous membrane reactions

• Rarely swelling or breathing difficulties

In case of allergic reactions, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
