Application

TANTUM VERDE Lemon throat lozenges are used for the symptomatic relief of painful inflammation and swelling in the mouth and throat area.

Dosage

Adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 and over should slowly dissolve one lozenge in their mouth 3–4 times daily.

For children aged 2 and over, TANTUM VERDE Mouth Spray is particularly suitable for local application.

Pregnancy & Lactation

When used as directed, use during pregnancy and lactation is possible.

• 3 mg Benzydamine hydrochloride per lozenge

• Aspartame (E951)

• Isomalt

• Citric acid monohydrate

• Peppermint flavor

• Lemon flavor

• Quinoline yellow (E104)

The peppermint flavor contains, among other things:

• Benzyl alcohol

• Citronellol

• D-Limonene

• Eugenol

• Geraniol

• Linalool

The lemon flavor contains, among other things:

• Benzyl alcohol

• Citral

• Citronellol

• D-Limonene

• Geraniol

• Linalool

• Butylhydroxyanisole (E320)

Side Effects

As with all medicines, side effects can occur with TANTUM VERDE Lemon throat lozenges, but they do not necessarily affect every user.

Possible side effects:

• Numbness or burning sensation in the mouth

• Dryness in the mouth and throat area

• Nausea or stomach upset

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Allergic reactions to flavorings or colorings

• Rarely, skin reactions or swelling

Do not use if allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.

Causes and effects of sore throats

Sore throats can last for several days and significantly impair daily life. Common symptoms include:

• Pain and difficulty swallowing

• Hoarseness

• Scratchy throat

• Dry cough
