Application

TANTUM VERDE Honey-Orange throat lozenges are used for the symptomatic treatment of painful inflammations and swelling in the mouth and throat.

Dosage

Adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 years and older should allow 1 lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth 3–4 times daily.

For children aged 2 years and older, TANTUM VERDE mouth spray is particularly suitable for local application.

Pregnancy & Lactation

When used as directed, use during pregnancy and lactation is possible.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Active Ingredient

• 3 mg Benzydamine hydrochloride per lozenge

Other Ingredients

• Isomalt

• Citric acid monohydrate

• Orange flavor

• Honey flavor

• Levomenthol

• Acesulfame potassium

• Quinoline yellow (E104)

• Sunset yellow FCF (E110)

The orange flavor includes, among others:

• Citral

• Citronellol

• D-Limonene

• Geraniol

• Linalool

Side Effects

Like all medicines, TANTUM VERDE Honey-Orange throat lozenges can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects:

• Numbness or burning sensation in the mouth

• Dryness in the mouth and throat area

• Nausea or stomach discomfort

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Allergic reactions to flavorings or colorants

• Rarely, skin reactions or swelling

Do not use if allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.

Causes and Effects of Sore Throats

Sore throats can last several days and significantly disrupt daily life. Common symptoms include:

• Pain and difficulty swallowing

• Hoarseness

• Dry cough
