TANTUM VERDE gargle solution is often used to relieve inflammatory conditions in the mouth and throat, such as:

• Sore throat

• Bad breath

• Inflammation after dental treatments or surgical procedures

• Stomatitis

• Aphthous ulcers

• Mouth ulcers

The ingredient benzydamine has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Local accumulation in the inflamed tissue can lead to rapid symptom relief.

Who is it suitable for?

TANTUM VERDE gargle solution is suitable for adults and children aged 5 and over.

Dosage instructions

The gargle solution should generally be used 2–3 times a day after meals.

Gargle 15 ml solution (equivalent to 1 tablespoon) undiluted for approx. 20–30 seconds and then spit it out.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

When used correctly, it can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

However, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted beforehand.

Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.

Side effects

Like all medicines, TANTUM VERDE gargle solution can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects:

• Burning or numbness in the mouth

• Dryness in the mouth and throat

• Changes in taste perception

• Nausea or mild stomach problems

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Allergic skin or mucous membrane reactions

• Rarely swelling or breathing problems

If allergic reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
