Application

TANTUM VERDE FORTE mouth spray is used to relieve painful inflammation and swelling in the mouth and throat.

Dosage

The spray is usually used 2–6 times daily (every 1.5–3 hours).

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 2–4 sprays

• Children aged 6 to 12 years: 2 sprays

• Children under 6 years: 1 spray per 8 kg body weight, but a maximum of 2 sprays

Due to the menthol content, do not use in infants and children under 2 years of age.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

When used correctly, it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before use.

Ingredients

Active ingredient

• 1.5 mg benzydamine hydrochloride per ml

Other ingredients

• Sodium saccharin

• Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate

• Glycerol

• Ethanol 96%

• Peppermint flavor

• Macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate

• Purified water

Do not use if allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.

Side effects

As with all medicines, TANTUM VERDE FORTE mouth spray can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them.

Possible side effects:

• Burning or numbness in the mouth

• Dryness in the mouth and throat

• Taste changes

• Nausea or mild stomach discomfort

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Allergic reactions on skin or mucous membranes

• Rarely swelling or breathing problems

If there are signs of an allergy, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
