They can be used for reddened eyelids, itching, burning, a feeling of a foreign body or sand, as well as light sensitivity.

The preservative-free single-dose containers each contain 0.4 ml and are suitable for adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 years and older.

Indications

For the relief of symptoms of dry eyes such as:

Dosage

Adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 years and older:

For symptoms, apply 1–2 drops per eye one to several times daily.

Maximum 1–2 drops per eye, 6 times daily.

Once symptoms improve, the frequency of application should be reduced.

How to use

Detach one single-dose container from the strip.

Remove the flat part with the ball tip by twisting.

Hold the container with your index finger and thumb, with the tip pointing downwards, over the open eye.

Gently squeeze the container to dispense the required number of drops into the eye.

Use a new container for every application.

Since the single-dose containers contain no preservatives, opened containers must be used immediately and subsequently discarded. Do not save opened single-dose containers for later use.

Do not touch the eye, fingers, or any other surfaces with the tip of the container.

Contact lenses

If you have eye inflammation, you should avoid wearing contact lenses if possible.

If this is not possible, remove the contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.

Notes

Always use this medicinal product exactly as described in the package insert or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.

In case of acute symptoms that do not improve quickly, or if long-standing symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 days, you should consult a doctor.

In the case of existing eye diseases such as cataracts or glaucoma, use should only occur after consultation with a doctor.

Similasan Dry Eye Eye Drops have no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

There is no evidence of any particular risk associated with use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Nevertheless, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be exercised with appropriate caution.

Active ingredients

1 single-dose container (0.4 ml) contains:

• 121.33 mg Atropa belladonna D6

• 121.33 mg Euphrasia 3c D6

• 121.33 mg Hydrargyrum bichloratum D6

Excipients

Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate, water for injections.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Similasan Dry Eye Eye Drops can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

After applying the drops, temporary mild burning, irritation, redness, or increased tearing may occur.

In the event of hypersensitivity reactions, severe symptoms, or a significant worsening of condition, stop use and seek medical or pharmaceutical advice.
