Product Details & Obligatory Information

Viburcol® is a homeopathic medicinal product and a combination medicine consisting of several harmonized homeopathic single remedies. It is used as supportive treatment for common infections and states of restlessness with and without fever.

Indications

The indications are derived from homeopathic drug pictures.

Used as supportive treatment for:

• common infections

• states of restlessness with fever

• states of restlessness without fever

The application is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.

Suitable for

• Adults

• Adolescents

• Children from day 1 of life

For infants under 1 month, only after consultation with a doctor.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents from 12 years

• 1 vial 3 times daily

For acute symptoms:

• 1 vial every 30 to 60 minutes

• maximum 8 times daily

Children from 1 day to 23 months

• 5 drops 3 times daily

For acute symptoms:

• 5 drops every 30 to 60 minutes

• maximum 4 times daily

Children from 2 to 5 years

• 5–10 drops 3 times daily

For acute symptoms:

• 5–10 drops every 30 to 60 minutes

• maximum 6 times daily

Children from 6 to 11 years

• 10 drops 3 times daily

For acute symptoms:

• 10 drops every 30 to 60 minutes

• maximum 8 times daily

If symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.

Active ingredients per vial

• Atropa bella-donna D6 – 11 mg

• Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni D8 – 75 mg

• Matricaria recutita D4 – 25 mg

• Plantago major D4 – 25 mg

• Pulsatilla pratensis D6 – 50 mg

• Solanum dulcamara D6 – 25 mg

Other ingredients

• Sodium chloride

• Water for injections

• Traces of lactose monohydrate

Contraindications

Viburcol® must not be taken if:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients

• Allergy to Compositae (e.g., chamomile)

• Hypersensitivity to any of the other ingredients

Side effects

Occasionally, allergic skin reactions may occur.

If side effects occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary.

Interactions

No interactions are known to date.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Notes

If symptoms in adults and children over 2 years do not improve or worsen within 7 days, a doctor should be consulted.

For children under 2 years, if there is no improvement within 2 days, medical advice should be sought.
