ratioDolor Ibuprofen 400 mg Film-Coated Tablets

ratioDolor Ibuprofen 400 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen and belong to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). They have pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, and fever-reducing effects.

Due to the ibuprofen lysine salt it contains, the active ingredient is quickly absorbed by the body. The product is suitable for treating various acute pains as well as for reducing fever associated with colds.

The film-coated tablets are lactose-free and suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.

Areas of Application

For the short-term symptomatic treatment of:

• Headaches

• Toothaches

• Menstrual pain

• Fever associated with colds

• Mild to moderate pain

Dosage and Administration

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over:

• 1 film-coated tablet (400 mg ibuprofen) as needed

• Take approximately every 6 hours

• Maximum 3 film-coated tablets per day

The maximum daily dose is 1200 mg of ibuprofen.

The tablets should ideally be taken with sufficient liquid with or after meals.

Without medical advice, the product should not be used for more than 4 consecutive days.

Storage and Notes

• Do not store above 25 °C.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Alcohol consumption should be avoided as much as possible during use.

Each film-coated tablet contains:

• 400 mg ibuprofen (as ibuprofen lysine salt)

Other Ingredients

• Microcrystalline cellulose

• Croscarmellose sodium

• Talc

• Magnesium stearate

• Highly dispersed anhydrous silicon dioxide

• Hypromellose

• Macrogol 6000

• Glycerol 85 %

Note: The product is free from lactose, gluten, and animal ingredients.

Side Effects

Like all medications, ratioDolor Ibuprofen 400 mg film-coated tablets can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them.

Common Side Effects

• Nausea

• Abdominal pain

• Digestive problems

• Heartburn

• Diarrhea

• Vomiting

Occasional Side Effects

• Headaches

• Dizziness

• Fatigue

• Skin rash

• Itching

Rare to Severe Side Effects

• Stomach or intestinal ulcers

• Gastrointestinal bleeding

• Severe skin reactions

• Liver or kidney dysfunction

• Severe allergic reactions with breathing problems or swelling

• Heart attack or stroke, especially with long-term use of high dosages.

If you experience signs of an allergic reaction, shortness of breath, facial swelling, blood in your stool, black stool, or severe stomach pain, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention promptly.
