For the relief of cold symptoms, pain and fever

Effervescent tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of cold-related complaints such as headache, sore throat and body aches. The combination of acetylsalicylic acid and vitamin C can relieve pain, reduce fever and support the increased need for vitamin C during a cold.

Thanks to the effervescent tablet form, the active ingredients are absorbed already dissolved and can be rapidly available.

Indications

Suitable for the treatment of:

• Headache, sore throat and body aches

• Fever as part of a cold

• Mild to moderate pain

• Flu-like infections and first signs of a cold

Active ingredients per effervescent tablet

• 400 mg acetylsalicylic acid (ASA)

• 240 mg ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

Mechanism of action

Acetylsalicylic acid inhibits the formation of prostaglandins, which are involved in pain and inflammatory reactions. Aspirin® +C therefore has:

• Pain-relieving effects

• Fever-reducing effects

• Anti-inflammatory effects

Vitamin C additionally supports the increased need during a cold.

Application and dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over

• Single dose: 1–2 effervescent tablets

• Maximum daily dose: 7 effervescent tablets

• Dosing interval: at least 4 hours

Dissolve completely in water before taking and drink immediately.

Do not take on an empty stomach.

Ingredients

Acetylsalicylic acid, ascorbic acid, sodium bicarbonate, sodium citrate, anhydrous sodium carbonate, anhydrous citric acid.

Total sodium content per effervescent tablet: 467 mg.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, Aspirin® +C can also cause side effects. Possible side effects include stomach discomfort, nausea, heartburn or mild stomach irritation. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions, allergic complaints or bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract may occur. Particular caution is required in case of asthma or increased bleeding tendency. Medical advice should be sought in case of unusual complaints.
