Weleda Birch Charcoal comp. Capsules

Diarrheal diseases can be caused by infections, spoiled food, or unfamiliar foods during travel. In such cases, the intestine partially loses its ability to distinguish between its interior and exterior and becomes more permeable to bodily fluids and salts. Severe flatulence and intestinal cramps often occur as accompanying symptoms.

The ingredient Antimonite in Birkenkohle comp. has a shaping effect and helps the body redefine its boundaries. Chamomile also has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. In addition, birch charcoal promotes the regulation of fluid and air intake and excretion during digestion. Therefore, this medicine is suitable for relieving acute digestive problems such as diarrhea, flatulence, and intestinal cramps.

Acute digestive problems accompanied by flatulence, intestinal cramps, and diarrhea. The antispasmodic components of chamomile root, as well as the regulating and strengthening effect of Antimonite, together with the water and gas-binding properties of birch charcoal, contribute to the normalization of disturbed stomach and intestinal function.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, suspect you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. The use of Birkenkohle comp. is not permitted during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: Take 1 capsule 3 to 5 times daily.
The capsules should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid (1 glass of water).

1 capsule contains: 27 mg Antimonit D2, 232 mg Carbo Betulae, 11 mg Chamomilla recutita, Radix, ethanol. Decoctum Ø=D1.

Other ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, sorbitol solution (70%), gelatin (for the capsule shell).
