Care Skin Cosmetics places the highest value on naturalness. The absence of traditional preservatives is therefore a given. To still reliably preserve our products, we use pentylene glycol, a dihydric alcohol that prevents microorganisms from multiplying. Pentylene glycol has another great advantage: unlike other alcohols, it does not dry out the skin, but even moisturizes it. In addition, it acts as a transport enhancer, ensuring that active ingredients are absorbed deep into the skin.
As antioxidants, they use Totarol/Vitamin E. Totarol is a natural active ingredient from the resin of the New Zealand Totara tree. Due to the exceptional rot resistance of this tree, the resin has been extensively studied. Scientific studies have confirmed the unique antimicrobial, antioxidant, and therapeutic properties of this resin, which benefit our products.
