OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND is a sugar-free lozenge containing the naturally occurring bacterial strain Streptococcus salivarius K12 and vitamin D. The product was developed especially for children, but is also suitable for adults.

The fruity, strawberry-flavored lozenges allow for easy application directly in the mouth and throat. Each lozenge contains at least 1 billion bacteria of the strain Streptococcus salivarius K12.

What is OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND intended for?

OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND is suitable for the targeted supplementation of the oral microbiome and simultaneously provides the body with vitamin D, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

The product is particularly suitable:

• for children from 3 years of age

A key role in defense – the oral microbiome

The mouth, nose, and throat are among the body's first points of contact with microorganisms and other substances from the environment.

The mouth contains a complex community of naturally occurring microorganisms, which is referred to as the oral microbiome, oral flora, or oral microbiota. This includes numerous different types of bacteria that live on the mucous membranes and other surfaces of the oral cavity.

The oral microbiome performs important functions in the mouth and throat. The composition and diversity of the microorganisms found there are in close interaction with the natural environment of the oral cavity.

A diverse oral microbiome helps to occupy existing ecological niches and can thereby influence the colonization of other microorganisms. Certain types of bacteria can also produce substances that influence the growth of other microorganisms.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND work?

OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND contains the scientifically studied and naturally occurring bacterial strain Streptococcus salivarius K12.

Each lozenge contains at least 1 billion germs of this bacterial strain.

Since the tablet is left to dissolve slowly in the mouth, the bacteria contained within come into direct contact with the mouth and throat area.

Additionally, OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND contains vitamin D.

Vitamin D contributes to a normal function of the immune system in children and adults and also plays a role in cell division.

For children and adults

The sugar-free lozenge with a fruity strawberry flavor was developed especially for children and can be used from the age of 3.

Adults can also use OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND.

Recommended intake

Children from 3 years of age:

Allow 1 lozenge of OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND to dissolve slowly in the mouth once daily.

Adults:

Allow 1 lozenge of OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND to dissolve slowly in the mouth twice daily.

It is recommended to use it before going to bed.

The lozenge can be used immediately after brushing teeth.

Pack size

30 lozenges.

One lozenge contains at least 1 billion bacteria of the strain Streptococcus salivarius K12.

A monthly pack of 30 lozenges thus contains a total of at least 30 billion bacteria.

Sugar-free

OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND is sugar-free and is produced with isomalt.

The lozenges have a fruity strawberry flavor.

Ingredients

Isomalt, bacterial strain*, magnesium stearate, strawberry flavoring, vitamin D.

*Bacterial strain Streptococcus salivarius K12 with at least 1 billion germs per lozenge.

Side effects and tolerance

No general side effects are indicated when consumed as directed.

The product contains isomalt. Excessive consumption of sugar alcohols can have a laxative effect or cause gastrointestinal complaints, especially in sensitive individuals.

The product should not be taken in cases of known allergies or intolerances to any of the ingredients.

In the case of persistent discomfort in the mouth or throat, fever, severe sore throat, or other unusual symptoms, medical advice should be sought.
