Otrivin® Natural Baby is an isotonic seawater solution (0.9% NaCl) for daily nasal hygiene. It gently loosens mucus and crusts, cleans the nasal passages, and moisturizes dry nasal mucous membranes. The special spray head with a protective tip allows for particularly gentle application in babies and small children.

Areas of Application

For daily nasal hygiene and for the removal of mucus, pollen, dust, and other impurities. For the relief of nasal discomforts such as congestion and increased mucus secretion, for example, due to colds and allergies, and for moisturizing dry nasal mucous membranes.

Recommended Use

Babies and children up to 6 years: 1–2 sprays into each nostril, 2-3 times daily.

From 6 years and adults: 1–3 sprays into each nostril, 2-4 times daily.

For babies, lay the child on their back and gently turn their head to the side. Carefully insert the spray head with the protective tip into the upper nostril and spray. Then repeat on the other side. Afterwards, sit the baby upright, allow the solution to drain, and gently wipe the nose.

Clean the spray head with warm water after each use.

Ingredients / Composition

Seawater 28%, purified water 72%.

1 ml solution contains 0.28 ml seawater and corresponds to 0.9% sodium chloride (NaCl).

Free from preservatives and other chemical additives. Inert propellant (nitrogen) that does not come into contact with the solution.

Side Effects / Tolerability

At the beginning of use, a stinging sensation or slight irritation may temporarily occur.

Important Notes

For nasal use only. Do not use if hypersensitive to seawater.

For hygiene reasons, the spray should not be shared with other people.

Store below 25 °C. Container is under pressure and may burst if heated. Protect from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C. Do not puncture or incinerate.

Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of reach of children.
