Otrivin® 0.05% Nasal Drops - For the relief of nasal congestion in case of a cold

Product Details & Mandatory Information

Otriven® 0.05% nasal drops contain xylometazoline and have a decongestant effect on the nasal mucous membrane.

Indications

For decongestion of the nasal mucous membrane in case of common cold, paroxysmal runny nose, and allergic rhinitis. Also, for facilitating the drainage of secretions in cases of sinusitis and middle ear inflammation associated with a cold.

Active Ingredients / Composition

1 ml solution contains:

• 0.5 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride

Other ingredients: purified water, sodium chloride, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium edetate and benzalkonium chloride.

Side Effects

Important Information

Do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Do not use for more than 7 days without medical advice. Re-application should only take place after a break of several days.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to xylometazoline or any of the other ingredients, especially benzalkonium chloride, in rhinitis sicca, or after certain surgical procedures where the dura mater has been exposed.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the stated expiry date.
