Urogelus® Washing Gel

Urogelus® wash gel is a specially developed wash gel for the gentle cleansing and care of sensitive skin, particularly in the intimate and anal areas. The combination of 1% tea tree oil, algae extract, chamomile extract, and other nourishing ingredients has a soothing, refreshing, and regenerating effect.

With a pH value of 5, Urogelus® supports the natural acidic environment and thus the skin's natural protective function. The wash gel is suitable for men and women and is mucous membrane compatible.

What is Urogelus® wash gel?

Urogelus® is a specially formulated wash gel for daily skin and intimate care. It contains, among other things, tea tree oil, algae extract, chamomile extract, milk thistle oil, panthenol, and lactic acid.

The selected ingredients allow for gentle cleansing and care of various skin types and are particularly suitable for sensitive skin areas.

The pH value of 5 is adapted to the skin's natural acidic environment and supports its natural protective barrier.

Areas of application

Urogelus® wash gel was developed for skin care in men and women. It is particularly suitable for the intimate area as well as for sensitive and stressed skin.

After urological procedures

After urological procedures, the skin in the genital area can be particularly sensitive and in need of care.

Gentle cleansing with Urogelus® helps to keep the affected area clean and prevent additional skin irritation. The nourishing and soothing ingredients support the regeneration of stressed skin.

For urogenital complaints

In case of urogenital complaints, gentle intimate hygiene is particularly important.

Urogelus® cleanses the skin without unnecessarily affecting the natural acidic skin environment. The pH value of 5 supports the skin's natural protective mechanisms.

The wash gel is also suitable for cleansing when there is an unpleasant odor in the intimate area.

For balanitis

For sensitive or irritated skin in the glans area, Urogelus® can be used for gentle cleansing and care.

Tea tree oil

Urogelus® contains 1% tea tree oil from Melaleuca alternifolia.

Tea tree oil has antimicrobial properties and is traditionally used for the care of impure and irritated skin.

It complements the cleansing effect of the wash gel and can be particularly beneficial for skin prone to impurities.

Milk thistle oil

Milk thistle oil from Silybum marianum contains, among other things, omega-6 fatty acids.

It supports the care and regeneration of stressed skin and complements the skin-caring components of Urogelus®.

Algae extract

Algae extract contains various natural components and fatty acids.

It supports skin care and helps to maintain the natural skin barrier against external influences.

Sea algae are used for their nourishing and skin-soothing properties.

Chamomile extract

Chamomile extract is known for its skin-soothing properties.

It is particularly suitable for sensitive, stressed or irritated skin and supports the nourishing effect of the wash gel.

Panthenol

Panthenol is a proven ingredient in products for sensitive and stressed skin.

It has moisturizing and skin-caring properties and supports the regeneration of the natural skin barrier.

pH 5 with lactic acid

Urogelus® has a pH value of 5.

Lactic acid contributes to the adjustment of the acidic pH value. This means that the wash gel is adapted to the skin's natural acidic environment.

The acid mantle is an important part of the skin's natural barrier function and should be maintained as much as possible, especially with frequent cleansing.

Application

Apply a small amount of Urogelus® wash gel to the skin area to be cleaned.

Gently massage the gel until a rich lather forms.

Leave the foam on for a short time and then rinse thoroughly with water.

For more intensive soothing care, the foam can be left on the skin for 2 to 3 minutes and then rinsed off carefully.

Do not use on children under 3 years of age.

Avoid contact with eyes. If the product accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

In case of persistent skin problems, severe irritation or worsening of symptoms, medical or pharmaceutical advice should be sought.

Side effects and tolerability

Urogelus® is developed for the gentle cleansing and care of sensitive skin areas.

In sensitive skin, individual ingredients, especially tea tree oil or fragrance components such as limonene, can in rare cases cause skin irritation or hypersensitivity reactions.

If burning, pronounced redness, itching or other persistent skin reactions occur, use should be discontinued.
