MilbenEx Ear Cleaner is a repellent for warding off ear mites as well as for cleaning and caring for the outer ear canals of dogs, cats, and other pets.

The active ingredient contained is derived from the leaves of lemon eucalyptus. At the same time, the ear cleaner helps to gently remove mite excrement, dirt, and excess earwax.

Intended use

MilbenEx Ear Cleaner is suitable for:

• Warding off ear mites

Cleaning and caring for the outer ear canal

• Removing mite excrement, dirt, and excess earwax

• Caring for irritated and sensitive outer ear canals

Typical signs of an ear mite infestation can include severe itching, frequent head shaking, and increased reddish-brown to black earwax.

Application

Gently tilt the animal's head to the side and apply 1–3 sprays into the outer ear canal daily, depending on the size of the animal.

Then massage the ear carefully. This helps to loosen dirt and earwax. The animal can then remove the loosened particles from the ear by shaking its head.

Shake well before use.

Due to potentially ejected dirt particles, the application should be carried out outdoors or in a room that is easy to clean whenever possible.

Duration of application

Use once daily for 3 weeks.

Then use 1–2 times per week until improvement occurs.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 15 and 25 °C.

Important notes

Use biocidal products with caution. Always read the label and product information before use.

Causes serious eye irritation. Keep out of reach of children.

Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, mouth, and teats. Do not inhale aerosol.

Do not apply to injured or damaged skin.

Do not use on pregnant or nursing animals or on young animals under 4 months old.

Do not use near food or feed, or on surfaces that may come into contact with food or feed.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if possible and continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice.

If swallowed, rinse mouth with water and seek medical advice. Have the packaging or label at hand.

Dispose of contents or container at a recognized waste disposal facility.

Composition

• Eucalyptus citriodora Oil

• Active ingredient: Geraniol

• BAuA-Reg.-Nr.: N-51813

Also contains 1,8-cineole and citronellol. May cause allergic reactions.

Side effects and tolerance

Skin irritation or allergic reactions may occur in sensitive animals.

In cases of significant inflammation, pain, severe itching, abnormal discharge, or persistent ear problems, the animal should be examined by a veterinarian.
