Product Description

META-CARE® Vitamin D3 Plus combines vitamin D3 with vitamin K2. One capsule contains 10,000 IU (250 µg) of vitamin D3 and is intended for once-weekly intake.

The body can produce vitamin D when exposed to sunlight. Especially during the less sunny autumn and winter months, the body's own vitamin D production can be limited.

Vitamin K2 complements the formulation, particularly with regard to maintaining normal bones.

What is the product for?

META-CARE® Vitamin D3 Plus is intended for targeted supplementation of vitamin D supply and is particularly suitable for increased demand or insufficient vitamin D intake.

Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of normal muscle function. Vitamin D also supports the maintenance of normal bones and teeth as well as normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus.

Vitamin K also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

Application and Recommended Dosage

Take 1 capsule once a week, unchewed, with a meal and sufficient liquid.

Alternatively, take as recommended by a doctor.

Due to the high dosage, the product is not intended for daily intake unless explicitly recommended by a doctor.

Ingredients / Components

Potato starch, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; menaquinone-7 (vitamin K2).

Side Effects / Tolerability

When taken as directed, no complaints are generally to be expected.

Excessively high or prolonged high vitamin D intake can lead to elevated calcium levels in the blood. Therefore, the specified dosage should be adhered to.

The product should not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Important Notes

• One capsule contains 10,000 IU (250 µg) of vitamin D3 and is intended for once-weekly intake.

• For children under 12 years of age, the intended amount of 10,000 IU vitamin D3 per capsule is not suitable as a food supplement.

• During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this product.

• If anticoagulants are taken concomitantly, medical consultation is required due to the vitamin K2 content.

• Other vitamin D-containing preparations should be considered in the total intake.

• The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded.

• Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
