Product Description

META-CARE® Vitamin C Plus combines liposomal vitamin C with acerola fruit extract, pomegranate peel extract, and cistus herb extract.

In liposomal technology, vitamin C is surrounded by phospholipids. This special delivery form complements targeted daily vitamin C supply.

Since vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and can only be stored by the body to a limited extent, a regular intake through diet is important.

What is the product for?

META-CARE® Vitamin C Plus is intended for targeted vitamin C supply and is particularly suitable during times of increased demand, for example, during intense physical exertion or an unbalanced vitamin C intake.

Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Furthermore, it supports normal energy metabolism and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Vitamin C also helps maintain a normal immune system function during and after intense physical exercise.*

Application and Recommended Intake

Take 1 capsule once daily, unchewed, after a meal with sufficient liquid.

Ingredients / Components

L-Ascorbic acid (liposomal), capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; acerola fruit extract, pomegranate peel extract, cistus herb extract.

Side effects / Tolerability

The product should not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Higher amounts of vitamin C can cause gastrointestinal discomfort in sensitive individuals.

Important Notes

• The positive effect on the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise is achieved with an additional daily intake of 200 mg of vitamin C in addition to the recommended daily intake.
