Wobenzym® Immun is a food supplement with a specially developed combination of plant-based enzymes, vitamins, minerals and selected plant compounds. Vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc and selenium contribute to the normal function of the immune system.

This combination is particularly suitable for times when the immune system is under particular demand, for example during the cold season, with an unbalanced diet, in stressful situations, during physical exertion or in old age.

Wobenzym® Immun contains the plant-based enzymes bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya. The formula is supplemented with vitamin C, vitamin D and vitamin E, the minerals zinc and selenium, as well as quercetin, polyphenols from grape seed extract and beta-glucans from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

The tablets are gluten and lactose-free.

Application

Wobenzym® Immun serves as a supplementary supply of selected vitamins and minerals to support normal immune system function.

A supplementary supply can be particularly useful:

• with an unbalanced diet

• in the cold season

• during physical exertion and intensive training

• in elderly people

• in smokers

• in stressful situations

• with increased physical or professional demands

Vitamin C, vitamin D, selenium and zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium and zinc also help protect cells from oxidative stress.

Recommended intake

Take 3 tablets twice daily with plenty of liquid, unchewed. This corresponds to a total daily dose of 6 gastro-resistant tablets.

For optimal intake, the tablets should be taken between meals, at least 30 minutes before or at least 90 minutes after eating.

The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.

Ingredients

The daily dose of 6 tablets contains:

Enzymes

• Bromelain: 60 mg
  from the pineapple stem

• Papain: 270 mg
  from the skin and seeds of papaya

Based on bromelain 5 F.I.P.-E./mg and papain 5 F.I.P.-E./mg.

Vitamins

• Vitamin C: 200 mg

• Vitamin D: 10 µg

• Vitamin E (α-TE): 30 mg

Minerals

• Selenium: 55 µg

• Zinc: 10 mg

Plant compounds

• Quercetin: 36 mg

• Polyphenols: 50 mg
  from grape seed extract

Other substances

• Beta-glucans (1→3, 1→6): 400 mg
  from Saccharomyces cerevisiae

NRV = Reference values according to the Food Information Regulation. For substances without a defined reference value, no NRV is available.

Side effects

For food supplements such as Wobenzym® Immun, no typical side effects are indicated when taken as directed, according to the recommended intake.

However, in case of individual hypersensitivity or intolerance to one of the contained ingredients, undesirable reactions may occur. In this case, intake should be stopped.

In case of existing illnesses, regular intake of medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, medical or pharmaceutical advice should be sought before intake if necessary.
