selenase® 200 XXL contains selenium in the form of sodium selenite pentahydrate. Selenium is an essential trace element that fulfills numerous important functions in the human body. An adequate supply of selenium is particularly important for the thyroid, the immune system, and antioxidant cell protection.

One tablet contains 200 µg of selenium and is divisible. If a lower dose is required, half a tablet containing 100 µg of selenium can be taken.

Side effects and tolerability

In case of unusual or persistent complaints, the intake should be stopped and medical or pharmaceutical advice should be sought.
