How does BIOGELAT® UroProtect work?
The combination of D-mannose and cranberry supports the health of the urinary tract and can help prevent bacteria from adhering to the mucous membranes of the urinary tract.
D-mannose binds certain bacteria – especially Escherichia coli – and supports their excretion via urine.
The contained proanthocyanidins (PAC) from cranberry extract can additionally help make it more difficult for bacteria to attach to the mucous membranes of the urinary tract.
Vitamin C and Vitamin D3 also support the normal function of the immune system.

Recommended intake
Dissolve 1 sachet daily in a glass of water (approx. 200 ml) and drink, ideally in the evening before bedtime.
Can be prepared as a hot or cold drink.

Side effects
In sensitive individuals, occasional gastrointestinal complaints may occur. Higher amounts of D-mannose can have a mild laxative effect.

D-mannose; carriers: mannitol, silicon dioxide; acidifier: citric acid; acidity regulator: sodium bicarbonate; cranberry extract; L-ascorbic acid; flavouring; colours: betanin, carmine; sweetener: saccharin; cholecalciferol.
