Traditional herbal medicinal product for colds, flu-like infections, and uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections

Product Description

ANGOCIN® Anti-Infekt Uro+Grippal is a traditional herbal medicinal product containing nasturtium herb and horseradish root.

It is used for common colds and flu-like infections, as well as for uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections such as cystitis.

The medicinal product is registered exclusively on the basis of its long-standing use in these indications.

Indications

ANGOCIN® Anti-Infekt Uro+Grippal is traditionally used for:

• common colds

• flu-like infections

• uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (cystitis)

Active Ingredients

1 film-coated tablet contains:

• 200 mg nasturtium herb (Tropaeoli herba)

• 80 mg horseradish root (Armoraciae radix)

Dosage and Administration

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:

4–5 film-coated tablets 3 to 5 times daily.

Standard dosage: 4 film-coated tablets 3 times daily.

Children aged 6 to 11 years:

2–4 film-coated tablets 3 to 4 times daily.

Standard dosage: 3 film-coated tablets 3 times daily.

Use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.

The film-coated tablets should be taken whole with sufficient liquid after meals.

Special Notes for Urinary Tract Infections

For urinary tract infections, medical consultation is required before use in:

• children under 12 years of age

• male patients of any age

This is to rule out more serious underlying conditions causing the symptoms.

Duration of Use

If symptoms do not improve within 5 days or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Important Notes

If you forget a dose, do not take a double dose.

If you take significantly more than the recommended dose, a doctor should be contacted.
