Glonoinum, also known as Nitroglycerin, is a chemical compound originally produced from glycerin and nitric acid. It is widely used in medicine and has its roots in the explosives industry, where it is known as an explosive material.

Interestingly, nitroglycerin was first synthesized in the 19th century by the Italian chemist Ascanio Sobrero.
