The rich formula is particularly suitable for highly stressed skin areas such as lips, hands, feet, elbows, and other dry or cracked skin areas.

3 essential ceramides

The contained ceramides NP, AP, and EOP are important components of the natural skin protective barrier. They support the skin's barrier function and help to make it more resistant to external influences and moisture loss.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid can bind moisture in the skin, thereby supporting intensive and long-lasting hydration. This leaves dry and rough skin feeling smoother.

Panthenol

Panthenol has moisturizing and skin-soothing properties and supports the care of distressed and irritated skin.

Occlusive protection

Due to its occlusive, i.e., sealing properties, the balm forms a protective layer on the skin. This reduces transepidermal moisture loss and supports the skin's natural regeneration.

Versatile use

The balm can be applied as needed to particularly dry, rough, and cracked skin areas, as well as to superficially irritated skin areas all over the body.

It is suitable for, among other things:

• very dry feet

• dry elbows and knees

• other particularly dry or stressed skin areas

Application

Apply a sufficient amount of CeraVe Healing Ointment to the affected skin areas as needed and distribute gently.

Due to the occlusive effect, the balm should be used after your regular moisturizer or as the final step in your skincare routine.

For particularly intensive care, the balm can be applied more generously to very dry skin areas and left on overnight.

For additional hydration, the CeraVe Healing Ointment can be combined with CeraVe Moisturizing Cream or CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. Apply the moisturizer first, followed by the balm.

Side effects

When used as directed, CeraVe Healing Ointment is generally well tolerated.

In cases of sensitive or highly reactive skin, redness, burning, itching, or other intolerance reactions may occur in individual cases.

If more severe or persistent skin reactions occur, use should be discontinued.

Do not apply to severely inflamed, infected, or deeply injured skin unless recommended by a doctor.

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

The product should not be used in the event of a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
