Heavy, tired or swollen legs can be the first signs of venous insufficiency. Often, feelings of tension, tingling, pain, nocturnal leg cramps, or visible varicose veins also occur. Especially prolonged sitting or standing can worsen the symptoms.

Antistax® 360 mg film-coated tablets contain a special dry extract from red vine leaves. The herbal active ingredient is obtained from the leaves of the red grapevine and is traditionally used to support venous function.

The plant compounds contained, especially flavonoids, act directly on the vein walls. They help to stabilize the vessels, reduce the permeability of the vessel walls, and support blood circulation. This can reduce the formation of swelling and relieve the feeling of heavy legs.

Antistax® works where venous complaints originate – inside the veins. The red vine leaf extract supports vascular function, improves oxygen exchange in the tissue, and helps to relieve irritated and stressed veins.

Tips for supporting the veins

Regular exercise supports the muscle pump of the legs and improves the return transport of blood to the heart. Walks, cycling, yoga, or special venous exercises are recommended.

Elevating the legs and avoiding prolonged sitting and standing can also help alleviate symptoms. In case of overweight, weight reduction can provide additional relief.

Application

Take 1 film-coated tablet daily in the morning before breakfast, unchewed, with sufficient water.

If necessary, the dosage can be increased to 2 film-coated tablets once daily.

Long-term use is possible after consulting a doctor.

Storage

Store dry and not above the recommended temperature. Keep medicines out of the reach of children.

Ingredients

Active ingredient:
360 mg dry extract of vine leaves (4–6:1), extracting agent water.

Other ingredients:
Talc, titanium dioxide, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, Vitis viniferae folium, crospovidone, croscarmellose sodium, red iron oxide, glyceryl tristearate, and anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate.

Side Effects

Occasionally, gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea or abdominal pain may occur. Skin reactions such as itching, rash, or hypersensitivity reactions have rarely been observed. If persistent or unusual symptoms occur, a doctor should be informed.
