Seresto Collar for Cats against Ticks and Fleas, with a killing and repellent effect for up to 8 months
The Seresto tick collar for cats offers your beloved pet protection against fleas and ticks. It repels ticks before they bite and kills them. Cats, in particular, often suffer from so-called FAD (Flea Allergy Dermatitis), an allergic skin inflammation triggered by a flea bite. Seresto is recommended as an approved veterinary medicinal product as part of the treatment strategy for this. The rapid killing of fleas can prevent the agonizing itching that cats with FAD suffer from. Thanks to its long-lasting effect of up to 8 months, it is convenient for you to use and safe for your cat, as it is equipped with a double safety clasp: The collar expands with a slight pull, and with a stronger pull, the predetermined breaking point tears. This allows your cat to free itself from a precarious situation.
The Seresto flea and tick collar contains two active ingredients: Imidacloprid kills adult fleas and their larvae on contact with the treated animal. Flumethrin repels and kills ticks. In no other flea or tick treatment do these two active ingredients work together to achieve such a rapid and effective action against parasites. The special feature of the Seresto collar lies beneath the surface. The two active ingredients are embedded in the polymer matrix of the collar and are slowly and continuously released onto the natural outer fatty layer of your cat's skin and fur. Thus, the Seresto collar creates a long-lasting "protective layer" that repels and kills bothersome parasites. The parasites do not need to bite to be killed. The active ingredient of the collar remains purely on the surface of the cat's skin and fur.

Application:
Remove the Seresto collar from its protective pouch immediately before use, unroll the collar, and remove the plastic connectors on the inside of the collar. Place the collar around the animal's neck without pulling it too tight (note: it should be possible to fit two fingers between the collar and the neck). Thread the end of the collar through the loops and cut off any excess length of more than 2 cm. The collar should be worn continuously for the 8-month duration of action and then removed. The collar should be checked regularly and, if necessary, the fit adjusted, especially for rapidly growing young cats or kittens.
