Application
FRONTLINE® Spot on is applied directly to the skin using a pipette:
- Remove the pipette from the packaging and hold it upright.
- Tap the tip briefly so that the liquid collects in the lower part.
- Snap off the pipette tip at the indicated mark.
- Part the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
- Place the pipette tip directly onto the skin and empty the entire contents by squeezing it several times.
How often should it be used?
For continuous protection, FRONTLINE® should be applied regularly in accordance with the package insert.
Efficacy against adult fleas in dogs lasts for up to 8 weeks, and efficacy against ticks for up to 4 weeks.
Instructions for use and environment
Intensive bathing should be avoided within 48 hours before or after treatment, as this can impair the distribution of the active ingredient. After the distribution period, FRONTLINE® products are water-resistant.
For dogs, the pipette size appropriate for their body weight must be used.
In the event of a flea infestation, all appropriate dogs and cats in the household should be treated accordingly. In addition, the environment should be cleaned thoroughly. Regular vacuuming as well as washing appropriate textiles, pet beds, and toys at at least 60 °C can support flea control.
