Tonsiotren lozenges – the power of homeopathy for sore throats.

Tonsiotren DHU lozenges are a homeopathic medicinal product for the relief of symptoms of pharyngitis and tonsillitis.

What is the product intended for?

Tonsiotren DHU lozenges are used to relieve discomfort in the throat and pharyngeal area. They are used for both acute and chronic tonsillitis, as well as following the removal of adenoids.

Brief Information

Tonsiotren DHU lozenges contain a combination of several homeopathic active ingredients. Due to their composition, the individual components complement each other and are used to relieve symptoms of throat and tonsil inflammation.

Tonsiotren lozenges are suitable for both acute and chronic conditions affecting the tonsils and throat.

Areas of Application

Tonsiotren DHU lozenges are used to relieve discomfort in the throat and pharyngeal area. They are used for both acute and chronic tonsillitis, as well as following the removal of adenoids.

Recommended Use

The tablets should be allowed to dissolve slowly in the mouth.

Adults and children over 12 years of age should take 1 to 2 lozenges every hour for the first 1 to 2 days for acute symptoms.

For chronic symptoms or follow-up treatment, take 1 to 2 lozenges 3 times a day.

Children from 6 years of age should take 1 lozenge every 2 hours for acute symptoms. For chronic symptoms or follow-up treatment, take 1 lozenge 3 times a day.

For frequently recurring symptoms, Tonsiotren lozenges can also be used several times a year as a 6- to 8-week course of treatment.

Note: The duration of treatment should be at least 6 to 8 weeks.

Method of Administration

Allow the lozenges to dissolve slowly in the mouth.

Composition / Ingredients

1 lozenge contains:

Active ingredients: Atropinum sulfuricum Trit. D5 12.5 mg, Hepar sulfuris Trit. D3 10 mg, Kalium bichromicum Trit. D4 50 mg, Silicea Trit. D2 5 mg, and Mercurius bijodatus Trit. D8 25 mg.

Other ingredients: 177.5 mg lactose monohydrate, sucrose, poly(1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone), talc, calcium arachinate, citric acid, hexadecanol (cetyl alcohol), and orange flavoring.

Side Effects / Tolerability

Like all medicines, Tonsiotren lozenges can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

If any adverse reactions or intolerances occur, use should be discontinued and medical or pharmaceutical advice should be sought.
