Engystol tablets are a homeopathic combination medicinal product for use in colds and flu-like infections.

At the first signs of a cold or flu-like infection, Engystol is used for symptoms such as coughs, runny noses, and sore throats.

What is the product intended for?

Engystol is a homeopathic combination remedy consisting of various individual homeopathic ingredients and different potencies that complement each other.

The therapeutic indications are based on homeopathic medicinal profiles and include colds and flu-like infections.

The use of this homeopathic medicine in the stated areas of application is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In the case of severe disease progression, a clinically proven therapy should be considered.

What is Engystol?

Engystol is a homeopathic combination remedy. Homeopathy is used as a form of therapy for acute and chronic illnesses.

A potency chord is a combination of different potencies of the same active ingredient. Engystol contains Vincetoxicum hirundinaria in potencies D6, D10, and D30, as well as Sulfur in potencies D4 and D10.

Engystol is used for corresponding symptoms such as coughs, runny noses, and sore throats.

Dosage and administration

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults aged 18 and over

1 tablet 3 times a day.

In acute cases

1 tablet every 1–2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 times a day.

Use in children and adolescents

Infants from 4 weeks to 23 months: 1 tablet daily.

Children from 2 to 6 years: 1 tablet 1–2 times a day.

Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 tablet 3 times a day.

In acute cases for children and adolescents

Infants from 4 weeks to 23 months: 1 tablet every 1–2 hours, up to a maximum of 4 times a day.

Children from 2 to 6 years: 1 tablet every 1–2 hours, up to a maximum of 6 times a day.

Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet every 1–2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 times a day.

Adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 tablet every 1–2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 times a day.

Reduce intake as symptoms improve.

Children under 4 weeks

The use of Engystol is not recommended for children under 4 weeks due to insufficient data.

Method of administration

Let the tablets dissolve slowly under the tongue. Take before meals.

For children under 6 years, crush the tablet with a spoon, add a little liquid (approx. 50 ml of water or unsweetened tea), and stir until the tablet has dissolved.

Duration of use

The duration of use depends on the respective clinical picture.

If there is no improvement within a week or if symptoms worsen, please consult a doctor.

Important notes

The use of this homeopathic medicine for colds and flu-like infections is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.

Composition / Ingredients

1 tablet contains the following active ingredients:

Vincetoxicum hirundinaria D6 75 mg

Vincetoxicum hirundinaria D10 75 mg

Vincetoxicum hirundinaria D30 75 mg

Sulfur D4 37.5 mg

Sulfur D10 37.5 mg

Other ingredients: 300 mg lactose monohydrate and magnesium stearate.

Side effects / Tolerability

Like all medicines, Engystol can have side effects, although these do not necessarily occur in everyone.

When taking homeopathic medicines, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.

If any side effects or intolerance reactions occur, medical or pharmaceutical advice should also be sought.
