Similasan Eye Drops for Inflamed Eyes – Single Doses

Similasan Eye Drops are homeopathic eye drops for the relief of typical symptoms of irritated and inflamed eyes. They can be used for watery or burning eyes, a gritty sensation, and increased light sensitivity.

The eye drops are available as convenient single-dose units without preservatives.

Areas of application

Recommended use

Adults, adolescents, and children from 6 years of age:
Apply 1–2 drops to each affected eye 1–several times daily. If symptoms improve, the frequency of application should be reduced.

Application of the single-dose unit:

1. Separate one single-dose container.
2. Twist the flat part with the spherical tip to separate it from the container.
3. Hold the container with the tip facing downwards over the open eye.
4. Squeeze the container and apply the appropriate number of drops into the eye.
5. Use a new container for each application.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per single dose (0.4 ml):

• Atropa belladonna D6: 121.33 mg
• Euphrasia 3c D6: 121.33 mg
• Hepar sulfuris D12: 121.33 mg

Excipients:

Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, water for injections.

Side effects

In case of unusual complaints or hypersensitivity reactions, discontinue use and seek medical advice if necessary.

Important notes

Use opened single-dose units immediately and discard afterwards. Since the product does not contain preservatives, opened containers should not be stored.

If there is no improvement after 3 days or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

In case of existing eye conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma, the eye drops should only be used after medical recommendation.

Contact lenses should not be worn if possible during eye inflammation. If contact lenses must be worn, remove them before instilling the drops and reinsert them no earlier than 15 minutes afterwards.

The eye drops have no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and operate machinery.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, use should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist as a precautionary measure.
