Product Description

Aronta 600 mg contains a special curcumin-phospholipid complex. Curcumin is a natural component of the turmeric root (Curcuma longa), which is traditionally used in Indian nutrition and herbal medicine.

Combining curcumin with phospholipids is intended to improve the absorption of curcumin into the body.

Available in packs of 30 or 60 tablets of 600 mg each.

What is the product intended for?

Aronta 600 mg is intended for the dietary management of chronic recurrent anterior uveitis.

Uveitis is an inflammation of the middle layer of the eye (uvea). In anterior uveitis, the inflammation is located in the anterior segment of the eye and particularly affects the iris and ciliary body.

Recurrent uveitis refers to inflammation that recurs after symptoms have initially subsided.

Typical symptoms of anterior uveitis

• severe eye redness

• increased lacrimation (tearing)

• increased sensitivity to light

• stabbing eye pain

• decreased visual acuity

Application and Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed by a physician, regular intake of 2 tablets of Aronta 600 mg daily is recommended for chronic recurrent anterior uveitis.

The two tablets can be taken either together or divided into a morning and evening dose.

According to the manufacturer, an intake period of at least one year is recommended.

1 tablet of Aronta 600 mg contains 600 mg of curcumin-phospholipid complex.

Side Effects / Tolerability

The product should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to turmeric, curcumin, or any of the other ingredients.

Important Notes

• Use for uveitis should occur under medical or ophthalmological supervision.

• In the event of acute eye pain, significant eye redness, severe light sensitivity, or a decline in visual acuity, a prompt ophthalmological examination is required.

• Existing medically prescribed treatment for uveitis must not be independently replaced or discontinued by using Aronta.

• Dosage and duration of use should be based on medical advice.

• Keep out of reach of children.
