Aconex® Augentropfen
Product information & legal notices
Decongestant preparation for the relief of eye discomfort caused by non-infectious irritation of the conjunctiva.
What is it for?
Aconex® eye drops contain the active ingredient naphazoline and are used for the symptomatic treatment of non-infectious irritation of the conjunctiva.
Irritation of the conjunctiva can manifest itself through symptoms such as red, irritated, or swollen eyes.
Aconex® has a vasoconstrictive effect and can thereby help to quickly reduce swelling in irritated mucous membranes.
Properties and effect
The active ingredient naphazoline has a vasoconstrictive effect.
By constricting the superficial blood vessels of the conjunctiva, increased blood flow is reduced. This allows swelling and redness of the conjunctiva to subside and the associated discomfort to be relieved.
Aconex® eye drops are intended for symptomatic treatment. This means that symptoms are relieved, but the underlying cause of the eye irritation is not treated.
Aconex® eye drops are particularly suitable for the short-term relief of discomfort in cases of non-infectious irritation of the conjunctiva.
Areas of application
Aconex® eye drops are used for the symptomatic treatment of non-infectious irritation of the conjunctiva.
The preparation can be used to reduce swelling of the irritated conjunctiva and to relieve the associated eye discomfort.
In the case of an infectious eye disease, appropriate medical evaluation and treatment are required.
Usage
Aconex® eye drops are intended exclusively for use in the eye.
