PULMOSTAT® AKUT is a herbal complementary feed for dogs and cats to support the physiological defenses of the respiratory tract.

The formula contains selected herbal components such as ribwort plantain, watercress, Iceland moss, quebracho bark, and ivy.

Intended use

PULMOSTAT® AKUT supplements daily feeding with herbal components to support the respiratory tract and bronchial system.

Properties and herbal components

• Ribwort plantain contains natural mucilages and other plant ingredients

• Watercress is a natural source of vitamin C and sulfur-containing substances

• Iceland moss contains mucilages that can form a protective film over irritated mucous membranes

• Ivy provides valuable secondary plant compounds

• With quebracho bark

• With liquorice extract to support acceptance

Feeding recommendation

For administration with food or directly into the mouth.

Dogs:

• Under 10 kg: 2 ml twice daily

• 10–20 kg: 3 ml twice daily

• Over 20 kg: 4 ml twice daily

Cats:

• 2 ml once daily

• If necessary, the amount can be increased to 2 ml twice daily

Important notes

PULMOSTAT® AKUT is a complementary feed and does not replace veterinary treatment.

In case of respiratory distress, noticeable breathing noises, severe or prolonged coughing, fever, nasal discharge, or a deterioration in the general condition, the animal should be examined by a veterinarian.

Side effects and tolerance

In the event of intolerance reactions or worsening of symptoms, feeding should be stopped and veterinary advice sought.
