ThermaCare® Lower Back HeatWraps were developed for targeted heat therapy for pain and tension in the lower back and hip area.

16 patented heat cells generate long-lasting, therapeutic deep tissue heat. The heat relaxes the muscles and can thereby relieve pain. Thanks to the elastic material and the Velcro fastener, the heat wrap can be individually adjusted to the waist size.

Intended use

ThermaCare® Lower Back HeatWraps are particularly suitable for heat therapy for muscle pain caused by:

• Muscle tension

• Overexertion

• Strains

• Lower back discomfort

• Hip area discomfort

• Chronic or occasional muscle pain

Application can begin at the first signs of back pain or tension.

Application

Open the airtight packaging only immediately before use.

Remove the heat wrap and place it with the unprinted side of the heat cells directly on the painful area of the lower back or hip.

Close the Velcro fastener on the front of the body and adjust it so that the wrap sits comfortably and securely.

After about 30 minutes, the heat wrap reaches a therapeutic temperature of approx. 40 °C.

For effective heat therapy, the wrap should be worn continuously for at least 3 hours. Depending on the instructions for use, it can be worn for up to 12 hours for an optimal effect.

Important notes

Do not use on diseased, injured, or damaged skin.

Do not use on bruises or swellings, nor on parts of the body with reduced or no sensitivity to heat.

Discontinue use in the event of excessive heat, burning, skin irritation, or other discomfort.

Follow the complete instructions for use, including the application times and warning notices specified therein.

Side effects and tolerability

Exposure to heat can cause temporary redness or skin irritation, especially in people with sensitive skin.

In the event of severe or persistent skin reactions or signs of a burn, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.
