Apozema® No. 58 Dreiklang Globuli for dry, spasmodic and irritating coughs are a homeopathic medicinal specialty based on Drosera (sundew) in the form of a potency chord D3/D4/D6.

Apozema® Dreiklang Globuli for dry, spasmodic and irritating coughs are a homeopathic medicinal specialty in the form of a potency chord D3/D4/D6. The combination of several potencies of the same active ingredient is intended to enable a broader spectrum of application within homeopathic therapy.

The areas of application are derived from homeopathic drug pictures. These include supportive use for:

• Dry spasmodic and irritating coughs

• Deep, barking, hollow coughs

• Painful coughing fits

Application

Adults, adolescents and children from 10 years:

5–10 globuli 3–5 times daily.

Children from 3 to 10 years:

5 globuli 3–5 times daily.

In acute cases, the frequency of dosage can be increased to up to every half hour (maximum 8 times daily for no more than one day). For continued treatment, 3–5 times daily.

Apozema® No. 58 Dreiklang Globuli are made from fresh sundew plants (Drosera rotundifolia, Drosera intermedia and Drosera anglica) harvested at the beginning of flowering.

Sundew (Drosera) belongs to the carnivorous plants and has been traditionally used for dry irritating coughs for centuries. In homeopathy, Drosera is particularly used for dry, spasmodic coughs and coughing fits.

The globuli contain a potency chord from several potency levels of the same starting material. The individual potencies complement each other within the homeopathic therapy concept.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Apozema® No. 58 Dreiklang Globuli can have side effects, although not everyone experiences them. In individual cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur. At the beginning of treatment with homeopathic medicines, a temporary initial worsening of symptoms may occur. In this case, use should be discontinued and professional advice sought.

In case of high fever, shortness of breath, bloody sputum or prolonged coughing, a medical examination should be carried out.
