The homeopathic individual remedies contained are traditionally assigned to the following homeopathic medicinal pictures:

• Lachesis (secretion of the venom gland of the lance-headed viper): Is described in the homeopathic medicinal picture for nervous menopausal complaints, palpitations and hot flashes.

• Acidum sulfuricum (sulfuric acid): Is traditionally used for menopausal complaints and hot flashes.

• Belladonna (deadly nightshade): Is described in the homeopathic medicinal picture, among other things, for complaints of the female reproductive organs.

• Ignatia (Ignatius bean): Typical characteristics are mood swings and emotional distress.

• Pulsatilla (pasque flower): Is traditionally used for climacteric complaints and cycle disorders.

• Sanguinaria (Canadian bloodroot): Is described in the homeopathic medicinal picture for complaints during menopause.

• Sepia (dried ink of the cuttlefish): Typical characteristics are complaints in connection with hormonal changes.
