The CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is a versatile facial cleanser for blemish-prone and acne-prone skin. The formula with 2% salicylic acid and white clay helps to reduce existing skin blemishes, remove excess sebum, and prevent the formation of new pimples and blackheads.

Cleanser, mask, and targeted anti-pimple treatment are combined in one product. Depending on the skin's needs, the clay-to-foam cleanser can be used in different ways.

At the same time, glycerin and three essential ceramides provide the skin with moisture and support the maintenance of the natural skin barrier. The creamy texture transforms into a pleasantly mild foam upon contact with water.

Blemish-prone skin requires a cleanser that removes excess sebum and impurities gently but effectively, without unnecessarily drying out the skin.

The CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser was specifically developed for skin prone to blemishes and acne. The combination of 2% salicylic acid and white clay helps to remove excess sebum, clear pores, and counteract new skin blemishes.

2% Salicylic acid

Salicylic acid supports the removal of dead skin cells and helps to clear clogged pores. This allows existing blemishes to be reduced and the formation of new pimples and blackheads to be counteracted.

Thanks to the special active ingredient technology, the salicylic acid can remain on the skin longer and unfold its effect.

White clay

White clay, also known as kaolin, has absorbent properties and helps to soak up excess sebum and impurities from the skin. This thoroughly cleanses oily and blemish-prone skin in particular.

3 Essential ceramides

The included ceramides NP, AP, and EOP are important components of the natural skin barrier. They support the maintenance of the skin barrier and help to protect the skin from moisture loss.

Glycerin & Niacinamide

Glycerin supports skin hydration and counteracts an unpleasant feeling of dryness after cleansing.

Niacinamide supplements the formula with skin-conditioning and soothing properties and is particularly suitable for blemish-prone and sensitive skin.

3 Application possibilities

Depending on skin needs, the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser can be used as a daily facial cleanser, cleansing mask, or targeted anti-pimple treatment.

As a daily cleanser

Apply to damp skin morning and evening and massage in gently. Then rinse thoroughly with water.

As a cleansing mask

Apply evenly to the skin about twice a week. Leave on for about 10 minutes and then rinse off carefully with water.

As a targeted anti-pimple treatment

For individual skin blemishes, the product can be applied directly to the affected areas and left on the skin overnight.

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Side effects

When used as directed, the product is generally well-tolerated.

Especially at the beginning of use, the salicylic acid contained may cause dryness, a feeling of tightness, redness, burning, or skin irritation in sensitive skin.

In the case of stronger or persistent skin reactions, use should be reduced or discontinued.

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water immediately.

The product should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
