Active ingredients

• Macrogol 4000

• Citric acid
• Potassium sorbate
• Purified water

DulcoSoft® Liquid binds water in the intestine and thus increases the liquid content of the stool. This makes the stool softer and easier to pass in a controlled manner – without abrupt urges.

Properties

• Can relieve hard, dry and painful bowel movements
• Onset of action usually after about 24–72 hours
• Acts purely physically, without stimulating laxatives
• Supports natural bowel function
• Neutral taste and free from sugar, salt, gluten and lactose
• Suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as for children from 6 months (after medical consultation)
• Individually adjustable dosage within the recommended amounts

Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor:

• Adults and children from 8 years: 20–40 ml once daily in the morning
• Children from 4–7 years: 16–32 ml once daily in the morning
• Children from 2–3 years: 8–16 ml once daily in the morning
• Children from 6 months to 1 year: 8 ml once daily in the morning

The solution is stirred into about 150 ml of water or another drink and preferably taken in the morning. The dosage can be adjusted as needed. The goal is the lowest amount that leads to regular, soft stools.
