COLDAMARIS Lozenges – Product Details and Mandatory Information

The oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane can only optimally fulfill its natural protective function against external influences if it is sufficiently moisturized.

COLDAMARIS Lozenges are a medical device for moisturizing the oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane.

The lozenges contain the active ingredient iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®), derived from red algae. When sucked, this forms a moisturizing protective film on the pharyngeal mucous membrane. Additionally, the natural moisture film created by sucking is stabilized by the viscosity-increasing properties of Carragelose®, so that it remains on the mucous membrane for longer.

COLDAMARIS Lozenges are used to moisturize the oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane, for example in cases of dry air, coughing, or hoarseness. They are also suitable for the prevention and supportive treatment of discomfort that can arise from a dry or irritated oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane – for instance, due to smoking, prolonged speaking or singing. Furthermore, they can be used as an accompanying treatment for viral infections of the upper respiratory tract.

The lozenges are sugar-free and have a pleasant honey taste.

Application:
Suitable for children and adolescents aged 6 years and older, as well as for adults.
