ADOLORIN® IBUFORTE EXPRESS

Indications
For the treatment of pain (e.g. back pain, toothache, muscle pain, joint pain, menstrual pain, nerve pain).
For the treatment of the acute headache phase in migraine with and without aura and for the treatment of tension headaches.
For the treatment of pain and/or fever in colds and flu-like infections.

Administration
The film-coated tablets are swallowed whole with sufficient liquid

Tip: It works faster if taken on an empty stomach, but is gentler on the stomach if taken with meals.

Dosage
for adults and adolescents over 12 years (over 40 kg body weight): Initial dose: 1 film-coated tablet (400 mg)

Thereafter, if necessary, 1 further film-coated tablet every 4 hours. Maximum total daily dose: 1200 mg (= 3 film-coated tablets)

What is ADOLORIN Ibuforte DIRECT 400 mg oral suspension and what is it used for?
This medicine contains ibuprofen and belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/antirheumatics (NSAIDs). These have pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects. ADOLORIN Ibuforte DIRECT 400 mg oral suspension is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over with a body weight of 40 kg or more. If you do not feel better or even worse, and if the use of this medicine is necessary for longer than 3 days in adolescents, or for longer than 4 days for pain or 3 days for fever in adults, consult your doctor.
